Melissa Senate is a well established novelist apparently. She's had at least one novel adapted for a TV movie on the ABC Family channel. The Love Goddess' Cooking School is not her first novel--it is her TENTH! But for the fact that the text of the novel itself is rife with typos throughout the entire book, one would think that it is a debut. There are missing words, words in the wrong form, etc. For whatever reason this book had a crap copy editor and the mistakes kind of take a little away from the story. They're just enough of a distraction when they pop up that they pull the reader out of the story a little bit because you have to go back and read it again to make sure that yes, that really is a typo, and then you have to go back and read it again to figure out what that typo should be corrected to.
